A high court official who usurped the emperors throne in 8CE, was a strong believer in Confucianism. He was assassinated in 23 CE.

Large landowning families that lived luxuriously that kinda acted like the leaders of their area.
Yellow Turban Rebellion:
A rebellion that was sparked in the end of the 2nd century. It was caused by peasants not being treated right and for being taxed to high. The rebellion was led by two Taoist brothers.
Caste as Varna and Jati:
They were the lowest of the low in the Indian caste system. They were sometimes called the "Untouchables". Although the part where they were not allowed to be touched was abolished in the 1950's, there is still active discrimination against them today.
"Ritual Purity" In Indian Social Practice:
"Ritual purity" is an aspect in many religions. The idea of these rituals is to remove any "uncleanliness" prior to a particular activity, especially when worshiping and god or deity.
Greek and Roman Slavery:
There were slaves practically EVERYWHERE in the classical era's. Rome and Greece had slaves, they would sometimes be emancipated for all of their lives, and sometimes the owner would be nice. But in Rome they had the captured warriors of their enemies fight to death in an arena .
Spartacus:
This is SPARTAAAAAAA! Haha no! It's Spartacus! (However it is fun to yell Sparta!) Spartacus was a real person, he was a slave gladiator. Spartacus led the famous uprising of the Roman slaves and Gladiators in 73 BCE, The highest number of slaves and gladiators that they had in their army at the highest point was over 120,000 people! They set fires and pillaged Italy for two years until they decided to split up (YOU NEVER SPLIT UP! DONT YOU KNOW THIS FROM HORROR MOVIES?! Oh wait yeah, they were not around then...) and eventually were defeated by the superior numbers of the Roman legions. Afterwards over 6,000 rebel slaves were crucified.
The "Three Obedience's":
An idea in Ancient China that a woman was inferior and obedient to first her father, then to her husband, then finally to her son.
Empress Wu:
A former high-ranking concubine in the imperial court. She became the Empress of China from 690-705 CE. She was the only ever woman to rule China and it was never repeated again.
Aspasia and Pericles:
Husband (Pericles) and wife (Aspasia), Aspasia was treated equally by Pericles. Some scholars were convinced that she was a "Hetaera" or a professional, educated, high-class entertainer and sexual companion.
Helots:
People that were conquered by Sparta that were then reduced into a lower status like slaves, they were introduced into permanent servitude.
